Shakes and sunshine was a huge hit with these Golden Ticket winners. Today's trip was rescheduled for March 19th due to weather.







Blankets are in and we have some extra on hand. You can purchase them in the front office at Burdine. $25 per blanket we accept cash or check. Checks need to be made out to Burdine Elementary.


Jaylyn Roberts was rewarded two positive office referrals this week from different staff members. She is hard working, always ready, and respectful! C-A-V-S let's go Cavs!


Wednesday, March 13th is a regular school day for Jenkins Independent Schools. It is no longer an early release day.

Burdine News March 11th-15th
Since Read Across America Week was cut short last week. We will wrap up the activities this week. The Book Fair will end Tuesday, March 12th and Cat in the Hat-Hat Day will be Friday. Global Dental will also be at Burdine this week for those who returned permission slips.

Pee Wee Ball Game Information for Saturday, March 9th


The Cat and the Hat, Thing 1, and Thing 2 showed up at Burdine yesterday! Thanks to our FRYSC for arranging these special visitors.








Jenkins Schools will be closed the next two days due to illness. Thursday, March 7th will be an NTI day. There will be no school on Friday, March 8th.

Meet Burdine's Gear Up College Career Navigator, Priscilla Rains!


Today students in Mrs. Carter's 5th grade Writing Class wrote their opinions about whether they would save the Truffala Trees or cut them down, using the text the Lorax by Dr. Seuss. They put their on demand writing skills to work and they all sided with the Lorax!
