We started Family Engagement Week a little early at Burdine! Our Save the Children staff planned Camp Family Fun inspired by the book "A Camping Spree with Mr. Magee" by Chris van Duesen. Families enjoyed camping games, math and reading activities, scavenger hunts, hot dogs, s'mores, and roasted marshmallows. Letcher Promise Neighborhood also hosted Family Cafe, crafted with families, and gave each family the book a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. It was a great night! #swordsup #encourageengageexcel
