The lost and found at Burdine is running over! If your child lost a jacket or hoodie during the school year it may very well be in the Lost and Found Box,. Please come by school any day from now until Friday, May 31st 9:00-2:30 to claim lost items.
Congratulations to Alyssa Fields on being presented a brand new laptop by MCHC. Alyssa is the Class of 2024 Valedictorian and had perfect attendance for the year.

Jenkins Independent will be releasing students at Burdine at 11:00 on Friday, May 17. The Middle-High will dismiss at 11:15.

K-2 students have had a wonderful day on their field trip to Knoxville Zoo. They have not left TN yet they are having dinner. They will be returning to school later than planned. All calls will be made as they get closer to school.

Last week students in Mrs. Gibson's second grade class practiced their reading skills by participating in Reader's Theatre. They had a blast reading a script!
5th Grade has had a great time on their end of year reward trip to Dollywood!
We would like to thank Gear Up and our CCN, Mrs. Rains for planning a trip to the Prestonsburg Science Center for students in grades 1st-5th. They had a wonderful time learning about science!
