Reminder Practices start today!
Just a reminder @ Burdine we have afterschool ESS on Mondays and Tuesdays. There is a bus, but on Monday it will drop off students in the Burdine area and on Tuesdays students in the Neon/Dunham area.
If you signed up for Pee Wee Basketball notes will be going home tomorrow about teams and practice times. Practices will be at Burdine and games will be Saturdays @ JMHS.
Jenkins Elementary competed in District Academics today. They came in 3rd place in Quick Recall. Two students placed in Written Assessment, advancing to regional. Ian Hall placed 3rd in Language Arts and Xaiden Sturgill placed
3rd in Social Studies. Academic Team members are Ian Hall, Carsen Watts, Xaiden Sturgill, and June Mullins.
One of our positive office referrals this week was Aubrey Fields. She is Caring, Always ready, Very responsible, and Shows respect.

Burdine Families this week students brought a home a form so you can update your contact information. Please return the form with updated numbers, addresses, and emails to school as soon as possible.
We have had so much fun celebrating the 100th Day of School @ Burdine!
Due to road construction between Burdine and Jenkins, our ESS buses will also be delayed.
Jenkins Independent School will be on a 1 hour delay on Monday, January 29th. Stay tuned for updates pending changing weather conditions.

All of our bus routes have been checked. Jenkins Independent Schools will be on a regular schedule tomorrow, Thursday, January 25th.
The 100th Day of School for is Tuesday, January 30th.
Shoutout to Superintendent Johnson, Director of Technology Mr. Warf, and JMHS Principal Mr. Boggs for joining custodial staff to get the JMHS parking lot ready for staff and students. We are blessed with the best @ JIS!
