Our students had the pleasure this week of being visited by our partners at the Wise County Career Technical Center. WCCTC offers a wide variety of career pathways for our students, many of which provide them with industry certifications upon completion. This allows them to immediately enter the workforce in high-paying jobs after graduation. Some pathways offer dual enrollment options, allowing our students to receive college credit through UVA-Wise and Mountain Empire Community College. They even offer a Career Strategies class that gives students an overview of all the pathways offered, helping them to choose a career that is right for them!
