Jenkins Independent Schools

After 30 years of service to Jenkins Indendent Schools, Mr. Brian Bentley has retired. Mr. Bentley worked for many years as a middle school science teacher and the school technology coordinator. Most recently, he served as the Instuctional Supervisor and Digital Learning Coach for the district. The Board of Education recognized Mr. Bentley at the June 29th meeting. Superintendent Damian Johnson expresed his admiration for Mr. Bentley, stating, "Mr. Bentley is as hard working, responsible, and efficient as anyone I've ever worked with. He's been a trusted co-worker and friend for many years. He will be missed." Superintendent Johnson presented him with an award for his years of service on behalf of the Board, as well as a rocking chair as a retirement gift. We would all like to thank Mr. Bentley for his service and wish him the best in his retirement.
